Taylor Nezich, MS, LLP

Taylor Nezich, LLP is a clinical behavioral psychologist who received their training at Eastern Michigan University's Clinical Behavioral Psychology program. She has been providing psychotherapy services in Washtenaw County for over 6 years and opened Mindful Moment Psychological Services and Behavioral Health in 2020. Taylor was first introduced to the study of mindfulness at the University of Michigan in 2014. Ever since that initial exposure, she has devoted her career path to helping people feel more connected to the present moment and foster adaptive coping skills to improve the quality of their life and relationships. 

Taylor provides a safe space for people to explore their concerns related to depression, anxiety, mood disorders, emotion dysregulation, parenting overwhelm, behavioral problems, neurodivergence (e.g. ADHD, ASD), relationship stressors, complex family dynamics, and trauma. They utilize evidence-based psychotherapuetic interventions tailored to each individual's needs and goals to partner with clients and help them learn about the therapy process, including how to make informed decisions regarding the treatment process.

Taylor's favorite mindful activities include impressionist painting, gardening, cooking, listening to music, spending time in nature, meditating, and being by the water.

Michael Meza, LMSW, CAADC

Licensed Master Social Worker and Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor
Pronouns: He/Him

Michael (Mike) Meza is a licensed clinical social worker and therapist who specializes in behavioral health and has extensive experience in addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders, such as depression and anxiety. Michael received his Masters in Social Work from the University of Michigan and has been helping adults, youths, and families, for over eight years. He is also a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor from the Michigan Certification Board for Addiction Professionals. Michael collaborates with clients and uses various modalities and therapies to assist them in achieving their desired outcomes. He is trauma informed, DBT skills informed, and attachment focused. He has trained in EMDR, CBT, DBT,  Adventure therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Crisis Management, Person-Centered, and Strength Based approaches. More importantly Michael believes in connecting with people and building trust and safety while exploring each client’s needs, such as, but not limited to: culture, identity, individuality, and strengths.

Caitlin Johnson, BS

Wayne State Counseling Psychology Practicum Student
Pronouns: She/Her

Caitlin is currently in the process of completing her 500 hour practicum as part of her graduate training through Wayne State University. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Human Behavior and Social Services from Michigan State University. 

Mindful Moment is proud to offer Caitlin's supervised psychotherapy services to provide quality mental healthcare treatment for adolescents and adults navigating challenges associated with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, emotion dysregulation, and quality of life concerns. Caitlin strives to create a safe, inclusive space that supports each individual's therapeutic journey. She aims to empower her clients and enhance their emotional well-being through exploring their experiences and developing effective coping strategies.  

Caitlin's favorite mindful activities include crocheting, reading, playing board games, visiting museums, going to coffee shops, traveling, and quality time spent with friends and family members.

Kasey Karol, BS

Wayne State Counseling Psychology Practicum Student
Pronouns: She/Her

Kasey is currently in the process of completing her 500 hour practicum as part of her graduate training through Wayne State University. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience from the University of Michigan. Mindful Moment is proud to offer Kasey's supervised psychotherapy services to provide quality mental healthcare treatment for children, adolescents, and adults seeking treatment. She is focused on tailoring therapeutic interventions to provide Person-Centered care, while taking into consideration all facets of her clients' identities and personal experiences to promote positive outcomes. She looks forward to helping clients build effective coping strategies and learn more about their mental healthcare needs. Kasey aims to create an inclusive, compassionate space to support her clients as they navigate daily stressors, anxiety, depression, trauma, and other concerns.


Kasey’s favorite mindful activities include reading, baking, playing Sudoku, riding her bike, visiting new cities, bowling, and spending quality time with her friends and family.

Samantha Clipper, BS

Administrative Assistant
Pronouns: She/Her

Samantha (Sam) Clipper holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Family Sociology and Communication from Eastern Michigan University. She will be continuing her education at Wayne State University in the fall, studying counseling psychology. She currently enjoys working with children and families at Childtime of Ann Arbor as an assistant teacher. She is excited to continue to work with children and families in her future career as a psychotherapist.


Her favorite mindful activities are jogging, listening to music, attending live shows, and spending time with friends and family.
